My Approach

My career has been focused on working in mental health with individuals who report having coping issues, adjustment problems, mental health disorders, family cohesion problems, as well as, individuals with relationship problems. I am able to provide individual, couples, and family therapy. I love using real life examples, story telling, Cognitive Behavioral, Structural and Narrative approaches, and Psycho-education to help clients challenge themselves to make needed changes

About Me

I received a Bachelors of Social Work from Jacksonville State University in Alabama. I decided to further my education, and obtained a Masters of Social Work from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. After several years of working in the field as a Social Worker, I challenged myself by enrolling in Argosy University and in 2014, I earned a Doctorate Degree in Counseling Psychology.
